Those nasty chalk hearts are not only high in fiber, but also express your emotions in a way that our pitiful language can't. "Be Mine" as read from a candy heart trumps any sonnet by The Bard.

Random Thought.....from I-am-Bored.com//// Why Hasn’t Osama bin Laden Been Found?. Anyone think Bush has him holed up somewhere and he`s going to ``capture`` him a couple weeks before his term`s up?

I'm leaning towards the Saudis as the cashews of the world, though Mugabe's regime certainly deserves a nut to call its own. Perhaps Brazil Nuts. I may have to create a table.

I, too, have noted the sudden attention given to flip flops. Not just for summer wear, folks! But, like you mentioned, apparently only for democrats. I think it's to be expected - Obama's going to get everything, including the kitchen sink, thrown at him from the Republican/conservative side. Luckily I think Obama's campaign staff is very savvy and will be ready for all of it. (I hope.) It's another reason I'm voting for him - if he can surround himself with good people now, it portends that he will be able to pick a good cabinet, etc, once he's in office.

Fine, I'll be baited. First, I think of Goldberg more as a patron saint than a savior. Second, of course white guilt plays a role amongst some Obama supporters. Just as racism plays a role amongst some of his supporters. Third, the issues are discussed all the time by conservatives like Goldberg. More to the point, the stuff on the periphery of so-called serious issues certainly should have a bearing upon voting decisions. Particularly considering that campaign promises are often unkept after election day.

Ha ha ha! Thanks for letting us eavesdrop. Cashews are my favourite, so I'm curious who will get the distinction.

Biggus, according to Wiki, you are absolutely correct: "The plant's name combines the morphemes pea and nut, causing some confusion as to the nature of the fruit. Although a nut in the culinary sense, in the botanical sense the fruit of the peanut plant is a woody, indehiscent legume and not a nut. The word pea describes the edible seeds of many other legumes in the Fabaceae family, and in that sense, a peanut is a kind of pea."

And I also agree completely here: "The religious nut is always the nuttier nut." Oh, so very true.

You're kidding me. A Bush staffer called him a flip-flopper on a round-table show? Fucking conservative media. To be clear, that was sarcastic.

More seriously: Of course he was going to forego the restrictions on spending required by the acceptance of public funds. It does, however, undercut his portrayal as a new kind of politician, which I thought was bullshit from the outset anyway. I'd find it easier to not be cynical if there weren't so many reams of evidence proving it to be justified.
