The Sunshine Empire

For some time I’ve written about the saga of Sunshine Empire Asia. At about the same time that I named this blog with a not to my living in the sunshine state, a ponzi scheme was begun in Singapore bearing a similar name. Wherein this Asian company was named, “Sunshine Empire” my blog was named, “The Sunshine Empire.” Now I receive traffic from Singapore often due to this coincidence. There is obviously no connection between the two entities, but I like to keep people informed. The leaders of this effort to defraud hard working people across Asia were sentence this week in Singaporean court, so perhaps this will be the end of this ongoing saga. It may of course mean that I do not get as much accidental traffic from Singapore, so I’ll miss you guys. Yet if it means these criminals will be behind bars and not defrauding people, then it’s a small price I must pay.
