The Sunshine Empire

I’ve lived in the state of Florida for my entire life. People talk about how hot it is down here. They have no idea. I just took a short drive up to the local Walgreens for a 5-Hour Energy. When I got there my shins were sweating. My shins. I looked at my weather report and I have some of my favorite places listed. Currently in Duval it is 97 degrees Fahrenheit. If not for the good John Gorrie nobody would live in this state. My good friends in Portland were enjoying rainy weather in the 50′s, and my good friends in Georgetown Colorado were dealing with icy weather IN THE THIRTIES. The thing is I’m sick of hot weather, I live in Florida, and it’s only mid-JUNE. That is all.
