1) Hasan’s murders were an act of jihadism, which we rightly or wrongly (wrongly, I think) call terrorism in all cases.

2) Who the fuck backs down when asked where in the bill it says you can be thrown in jail? Even defenders acknowledge that it’s in there. If you don’t have insurance you are forced to pay a tax. If you don’t pay the tax you can face a maximum of 5 years in prison.

3) Obama isn’t making a decision about invading a nation. He has received recommendations from commanders in Afghanistan on how to win an ongoing war and is dithering. Likely for political reasons.
