The Sunshine Empire

Sarah Palin is coming to The Sunshine Empire in two weeks and sadly I will be busy that day. She’ll be bringing hoards of wingnuts to a bookstore I worked at once as a younger man. There’s a guy who would spend the whole day in the cafe drinking coffee just watching people walk by in the adjacent mall. He looked just like Santa Claus.

Fans of the Howard Stern Show often go to public events to shout out the nickname of his Stern’s executive producer, Baba Booey. I was thinking of taking time out of my day and going to the book signing to stand in the back and keep yelling “LEVI JOHNSTON” until I’m kicked out, but I have a full day that day. On a related note I was really disappointed that Twitter took down fake Levi Johnston’s feed. It was like watching bad reality television, which I don’t do.
