The Democratic National Nobel Peace Prize Committee
So they’ve given the Nobel Peace Prize to President Barack Obama. Really? I understand that Obama has moved the American ship of state drastically in terms of her attitudes and approaches to diplomacy, but the deadline for nomination was two weeks after his inauguration. The Nobel nominating committee risks making their award nothing more than an arm of the Democratic National Committee. They haven’t awarded a Republican president since Theodore Roosevelt and he actually negotiated an end to a war in Asia.
No doubt this will end up as nothing more than a chance for republican fringe types to hyperventilate about pretty words instead of deeds and such. They will portray this as an arrogant President that lobbied for the award getting undue praise, despite that not being true. The clear political reality is, yes it’s a bit much to be awarding him the Nobel Peace prize after nine months in office. Yet let’s be real, he didn’t ask for this.

You must understand, this is they guy that kept Palin out of the White House. That alone is worth more than the Cairo speech, the race speech, getting out of Iraq…
