Footballtown TSE: Just Let The Rams Leave Rush

Two of my biggest loves are sports and politics, and rarely do the twain meet. But today’s story of Rush Limbaugh’s submitting a bid for the purchase of the St. Louis Rams provides us just such a situation. Now it’s perfectly understandable that the drug addicted mega-rich radio host would want to purchase the Rams, as he is a known football fan and native of Missouri. On one level I’m disappointed that he is coming in to save the day for the woeful Rams because they should be allowed to move back to L.A. We should be allowed to be spared the constant cries that the second largest television market should not be without a professional football team. You know Houston is the largest television market in North America without an NHL hockey team but nobody is bitching about it in Houston. But on another level my Jaguars have the St. Louis Rams coming up in the next couple of weeks and that will give me added reason to root against them. Hopefully if Limbaugh does buy the Rams that will get him to leave our beautiful state and return back to Missouri.
