I don’t have the time today, but I had a thought regarding the meme that Democrats are pushing a “government takeover” of health care so that federal bureaucrats can step in and make an end of life choice for a person over the objection of a loved one. I want to cross reference all those conservatives that have stated this obvious falsehood, with those who voted for that abomination of a bill in Congress aimed at putting Terri Schaivo’s feeding tube back in over the objection of her husband back in 2005. In the minds of Republicans they are comfortable with the federal government stepping into your life as long as a Republican is President.
