The Sunshine Empire

Nobody pays attention to The Sunshine Empire’s favorite team. Hardly many in the Empire itself often seem to care about the only professional sports team in town. But I count myself a proud Jacksonville Jaguars fan and know that the franchise has better days ahead. The spotlight will be on the team tonight as the boys in teal and black roll into Philadelphia to take on the Eagles. Now this game would hardly register even in the Philadelphia area even if not for it being the debut for a new back up Eagles quarterback by the name of Michael Vick. Now this means that the Jaguars have a spotlight to show that they have the guns to have a surprising year this year in the National Football League. The offensive line has been greatly improved and the receiving corp is now staffed by young talent and not overblown busts. This all and the defense has been much more physical this year. All this could be for naught as they could show themselves to be the young and unorganized team they were last year. But at least one Jags fan here wants to have hope.
