The Sunshine Empire

Watching the landing of Bill Clinton with newly freed reporters Laura Ling and Euna Lee was a very moving site this morning live on television. The mission from the former President seems to have been a rousing success. The United States government had no official part in the mission and gave no concession to free the reporters. The North Koreans were allowed to save face and back down from their highly contentious rhetoric after being ignored rightly by the Obama administration. All this and they even bought Bubba dinner. So would this cause any conservatives to compliment the deft handling of the situation? Of course not.

I stated yesterday that no matter what, conservatives would find a way to state that somehow state that what Clinton had done was servile to the North Koreans and sure enough angry walrus John Bolton was ready to rain on that Clinton parade. I stated to Biggus Rickus that he wouldn’t give Clinton a compliment even if he invented cold fusion. Rickus replied that Clinton more than likely would have stolen it from someone.
