The Sunshine Empire

Well it’s another week and the tea baggers are getting more traction in the media. Yeah that’s right the “liberal” media is reporting of suddenly unruly town hall meetings as some kind of uprising. Now all those supposedly raucous town hall meetings are neither raucous nor actual town hall meetings but the “liberal” media is eating it up as some kind of actual grass roots movement. The tea baggers would have you believe that just about four months after the country overwhelmingly voted against their ideas in a demonstrable level that suddenly they are in an uprising against what they themselves had just voted for. But to see the likes of CNN reporting about the lobbyist manufactured wackos at these meetings with members of Congress including wing nut birthers is to lay bare the bullshit that is the myth of the “liberal” media.

Anybody willing to bother to look will find that talking points have been distributed among Tea Party web sites on how to infiltrate the normal town all meetings of members of Congress from the Democratic side. What is being done whatever you feel politically on the issue is nothing but bullshit propaganda. Now Think Progress has documented how right wing lobbying groups have distributed talking points on how to disrupt with small amounts of people the public appearances of Democratic members of Congress to make political gains.

Many in the conservative media have termed the lobbyist manufactured tea baggers as some kind of “grass roots movement.” Well if so why would a grass roots movement that anybody beyond the foil hat crowd need a direction such as this, “The Rep should be made to feel that a majority, and if not, a significant portion of at least the audience, opposes the socialist agenda of Washington.”
