The Death Of Michael Jackson, Part 7 Of 200

I’m intrigued that everyone I know practically other than Biggus Rickus seems caught up in this Michael Jackson memorial and funeral that is going on and I have absolutely no interest. I even read that experts predict a noticeable slowing of the internet worldwide because of it. Now I grew up during the ’80′s so believe me I remember the hype and excitement of Michael Jackson and Thriller being released. Those days of being a young Catholic school kid doing the Thriller dance in parachute pants at skating parties bring back great memories, but he’s dead. I cannot imagine that there would be this much coverage and gnashing of teeth if President Obama and Pope Benedict died in the same amusement park ride accident. The only comparable thing is the five day long burial of Ronald Reagan. Yet this will not be the end of the Michael Jackson story when it comes to the media and the endless barrage of entertainment garbage. The stories will carry on for months and maybe years in a way Anna Nicole Smith’s death never could. That being said the poor guy probably has more peace now dead than alive, so RIP Michael Jackson.
