The Sunshine Empire

Many on the left are going wild for the video of Liz Trotta slamming Sarah Palin as uneducated and not up to the task of being a major player on the national conservative political scene.  Now I really share the glee with which people see someone so conservative slam the supposed conservative queen bee for what she is.

But let’s take this with a grain of salt. We’re so apt to give this woman credence. But what about what she said on Fox News while discussing the 2008 Democratic Primary controversy of Hillary Clinton mentioning the assassination of Sen. Robert F. Kennedy;

“… and now we have what some are reading as a suggestion that somebody knock off Osama. Um, uh,Obama. Well, both, if we could.”

Should we give this woman more weight in her comments slamming Sarah Palin’s batty actions because she is so off the wall conservative, or should we not listen to anything this batshit insane woman who advocates for the assassination of political figures she disagrees with says? It’s a troubling political quandary, especially because she’s right about Palin no matter how hard the Fox News desk jockey tries to bait her into the News Corp line. Suffice to say a broken clock is right twice a day.
