Yet Another West Coast Swing
For the first time I will be making a second West Coast swing in a year and this time I will be returning to Portland Oregon for the third year in a row. I love Portland and will enjoy all my favorites. In addition to seeing our good friend Jolemite and his family, I hope to kick it at Powells books, Ground Kontrol, and maybe the Portland City Grill. I’ll even get on stage and sing a Tenacious D tune for the third year in a row at The Devil’s Point. So look out for me on the mean streets of PDX from August 14th through the 17th. Look out Portland it’s The Sunshine Empire in Oregon.

Nice use of “west coast swing.” All I can dance so far is east coast, but I’m learning lindy hop this weekend, which – I think – is a derivative of west coast. They’re both 8 counts, anyway. Powell’s books is awesome! Enjoy Portland.
