Obama Presser Reaction, Even Though I Didn’t See It
I could not muster the energy to watch President Obama’s prime time news conference last night. I spent much of the time playing golf and eating dinner. Those around me and those in the media seem to be focused on every little emotion the President has. The news out of the presser this morning on CNN seemed to be him “snapping” at Ed Henry saying that he likes to know what he’s talking about when he goes public with something. I also noticed that he is continuing the use of the teleprompter for every single event he does. I imagine that he used the teleprompter to read Sasha and Malia a bed time story later that night. It’s not horribly troubling but I have no idea why he uses it so much. The other thing I found interesting about the post conference reaction was Bill Bennett saying he thought the idea of the press being in love with Obama was dead with that news conference. My feeling is no evidence will be enough to convince conservatives that they can put their liberal press boogie man theory to rest. It’s a political security blanket that they will never out grow.
