The Sunshine Empire

Day one of The Sunshine Empire Pacific conference is in the books and it was a crazy one.  From Florida before the sun rose to Sacramento after dark.  We visited the California state capital grounds and had something called Monkey Knife Fight Ale.  We had three even though we are terrified of knife fights.  Despite having slept only four hours since Thursday morning I still woke up at 7 AM this morning.  More today will bring winery tours and assorted revelry.  Despite a forecast of rain it is beautiful this morning, so we should have great pictures when we return from the golden empire.  

As I type this watching Good Day Sacramento, they read an email from a person lamenting that his teenage son loves to eat fried chicken in the shower.  Just had to include that.  They are also looking for Gavin McCloud lookalikes.
