This is what happens, people. Open your fucking eyes. On a serious note, we've really cheapened the ideas of cowardice and bravery. When people are lauded for bravery for having voicing a commonly held opinion or chastised for cowardice over, well, nothing, the terms have no useful meaning. The fact is that there is not a lack of talk about race in this country. In fact, it seems like all we fucking do is talk about race. There is a lack of honest back-and-forth since if you deviate from the accepted view on race you're dubbed a bigot, but that's a whole other can of worms.
