The Sunshine Empire

Looking back on my posts from a year ago I have noticed that we have come to Edgar Allen Poe’s birthday. This just made me miss a lady I’ve not spoken to in close to a year. Oh well. One year ago was also the night of the 400th post. We are close to 1,200 posts now as we have picked up the pace. Tonight on the verge of Barack Obama’s inauguration I wrote these words a year ago, “Reading the early results, it seems that Mitt has pulled in the Nevada Caucus. That means who the winner of South Carolina is will mean the world for seeing who gains momentum in the Republican race. If McCain wins that means Huckabee continues to look more Tsongas-ish.” McCain went on to win that South Carolina primary and the nomination, but a young man born in Hawaii won that night as well. It’s amazing the difference a year makes.
