Huckabee Is Still On The Air, Really

I just finished watching the second half of tonight’s episode of Huckabee. It’s shocking how many wonderful shows on television have been canceled, yet Huckabee remains like Yoko after John’s death. Governor Huckabee is a fine enough fellow and he was a very effective campaigner during the 2008 Republican primary, but that show is just like reading Marie Claire. Then at the end of the show, Governor Huckabee gets several people from the mail room at Fox to come in and play Elvis toons while he plays base at the level of a 7th grader. This show is still on, and has not been canceled. Fox is also the highest rated cable news network. We are all doomed.

  1. It’s shocking how a small minority are so intellectually insulated that they find the persistence of fare and fans with whom they disagree, shocking.

Incidentally, should that contingent with whom you are perplexed cease from any position of influence in American society, I would more quickly conclude that “We are all doomed…literally: the society would be well down the path to dissolution.
