The Sunshine Empire

If this political season, which is still going amazingly, has proven anything it is the midas touch of The Sunshine Empire. During the summer our chief political adviser was fortunate enough to shake the hand of then Senator Barack Obama. The Senator is now known as President-elect Barack Obama. Later in the election season I was fortunate enough to meet and speak briefly with Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano at a fundraiser for the Obama campaign in St. Augustine Florida, and she is now being tapped as the new Secretary of Homeland Security. She will take over from current Homeland Security secretary Skeletor. I feel that she will be a force to be seen in Democratic circles for sometime to come, and could be an early favorite for Senator McCain’s seat if he does not run for reelection. Governor Napolitano is a good political template to follow for Democrats wishing to push into more red southern states and we look forward to a more common sense approach at Homeland Security.

With Mayoral and Senate elections coming up here in Florida, the candidates should line up for our political midas touch.
