If It’s Sunday, I’m Up Too Early

I turned on Meet The Press to take refuge from the abomination of a college football weekend I had, and sure enough Tom Brokaw had to mention Ole Miss beating Florida. Thank you Tom. Both Steve Schmidt and David Axelrod are on giving post-mortum on the debate. Schmidt is still trying to paint the picture that after not having cast a vote in the Senate, McCain swooped in and was single handedly responsible for the coming deal on the bailout. The debate is good. Schmidt tried to hammer Obama for not saying the word victory, and tried to counter Axelrod by saying, “That’s not what General Petreaus says.” Then Brokaw used the quote where the General said that using the word victory was wrong, and Schmidt then turned and said that was wrong.
