TSE Election Central: McCain-mentum?
Family matters intruded at the most in-opportune time for a political junkie, but my sister comes first before such matters so right before John McCain’s speech began I spent time with the only other sibling in my life. What I did see of Senator McCain’s speech was not at all bad, just wholly un-inspiring. While traveling through The Sunshine Empire with our associate Will this morning, he stated that as an independent he had not heard any reason to vote for the Republican ticket from the Palin speech. But what most of the political commentary class have agreed upon is the fact that the RNC has been devoid of any substance in terms of turning around the economy. But McCain’s speech was not bad in the least bit. He has played the stoic warrior well enough to give himself a shot at the White House. But I can’t help but notice the tepid response from the crowd compared to last night with Governor Hotness. It’s clear where the political momentum in the Republican party is headed.

Well, I wasn’t going to vote for him before, but he reminded me that Obama wasn’t ever a POW. Did the DNC not do proper vetting?
