NRO Misses The Boat, As Usual

The Right is reacting with measured tones to the Sarah Palin choice, yet Andy McCarthy at NRO had a curious reaction. “Man, what a dumb move. Reports say Obama people are ridiculing McCain for choosing a little known figure with no foreign policy experience to be a heartbeat away from the presidency. The response almost writes itself, no?” Ah, no it doesn’t. The reaction from the Obama campaign is saying that the incessant repeating of the importance of experience from the McCain campaign means nothing when they make a VP pick not based on quality, but on appealing to bitter Clinton voters and balancing the minority disadvantage. Experience obviously means nothing to the McCain people picking a pretty face from a small state, despite them screaming of the importance of it. More of the do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do mentality of the McCain people. A real flip flop if you will.
