TSE Election Central: Wrap Up Of Live Blogging The DNC

In our nightly closing, it seems that many wish that this convention was more hard on George Bush and John McCain.  Yet as much as the Democratic National Convention was about beefing up the military vibe in 2004, this year seems to be focusing on people who have won elective office in places once thought impossible for Democrats.  The keynote being delivered from a Democratic former governor and virtual lock for a second strait Democratic Senate win in Virginia, along with a two term Democratic Kansas governor.  Pro-life Pennsylvania Senator Bob Casey, and the Montana Governor that nearly stole the show tonight in Brian Schweitzer were spot on, even if Casey is not the most electrifying speaker.  The swipes at John McCain were few and far between until Hillary Clinton took the stage and she dispelled any ill will about her not being fully behind the candidate.  Fox News will still report it as a tepid response, but anyone with a pulse will admit that she knocked it out of the park tonight and totally p4wnd McCain and his pro-Hillary commercials. This is like Christmas for a clear political junkie like myself, but I am always more pleased with being pissed than being inspired so next week in St. Paul should be even better.
