TSE Election Central: Live Blogging The DNC Night 2
I’ll address Bob Casey in a minute, but I’m watching Fox News while my cable system has CNN frozen. HANNITY and colmes are talking to Clinton adviser Howard Wolfson and they are both begging him to say that he hates Obama and that he’s a horrible candidate. I get that from Hannity but I do not get that from his little poodle sidekick. Wolfson did not exactly give a great defense, but he did some. The clear political implications are not the same as the ones being pushed by most of the media. Once the keynote speaker, former Virginia Governor Mark Warner started speaking, Fox News went to commercial.
Pennsylvania Senator Bob Casey is not the most rousing speaker, and the press keeps pushing the bogus story that his father was denied a speaking roll in the 1992 DNC, but he did a good job. His line about four more months as opposed to four more years was a good jab. His speech was a first start to attacking Bush/McCain, but Warner’s speech is good so far. I’m hoping for some red meat from Senator Clinton later that will finally put these bitchy little Republicans in the media in their place with their conspiracy theories.
Warner is pushing the line that Bush wasted the unity after 9/11, and he should push it hard. Division not unity from the uniter-not-divider.
