Jesse Wants Nuts With That
Scanning the political commentary as the day was coming to a close I saw a headline stating that Jesse Jackson has said something objectionable about Barack Obama. The salacious headline was not even enough to get me to read the article. The campaign, much like the television schedule, seems to be in the re-run cycle. John McCain is playing all the old Clinton lines in the hope that maybe this time it will do some damage to Obama. But I went to my parents house for dinner and heard Wolf Blitzer on The Situation Room on the way there say that even Jesse Jackson’s son had “repudiated” the comments. Showing distaste for a comment in politics cannot make said comment go away until you have repudiated said comment. Anything short of that and you remain in the spin cycle on Fox And Friends. But if your own son is repudiating you then you must have said some heinous verbiage. This is the man that called New York “heimy town.”
Turns out Jesse just wants to cut Obama’s nuts off. No harm there. The real scandal is that anyone is still having Jesse Jackson on any kind of satellite feed for any television show, ever. Also, who the hell says that, wanting to cut off another man’s nuts.
