The Sunshine Empire Celebrates Our Domain-aversary
This evening marks the official one year anniversary of the birth of www.thesunshineempire.com. From September of 2006 until July 1st of 2007 I wrote The Sunshine Empire at sunshineempire.blogspot.com. Yet in the early part of 2007 while working with an SEO specialist named Josh I was convinced to take the blog out onto my own and see what I could do with it. For the last year we have discussed topics ranging from College Football, to the Iraq War, to the legendary 2008 Democratic Presidential primary. We stated that if the Democratic primary should be undecided, Al Gore may become the savior candidate. The Democratic primary ended, but shortly after we said Al Gore the rest of the main stream media began carrying the Al Gore as savior candidate buzz. We had the best post mortum Charlton Heston joke before The Onion did, and we made tour stops to Portland OR, Cleveland OH, Harpers Ferry W.V. and Washington D.C. We talked Politics, Sports, the 2008 election, Humor, lots of top tens, and you saw us through Video Empire (I know I should do more.) We don’t have many readers, but we do have dedicated commentors like Biggus Rickus, Jolemite, Crustle, LibertarianmindedinFL, and St. Augustine. Thank you for those who do read. You get a little view into the twisted world of The Sunshine Empire. I hope you enjoy the next year.
