American Idol And The American Presidency

I have read on the internets that the American Idol finale is tomorrow night.  Tonight is the results from the Democratic primaries in Oregon and Kentucky.  If you have been following the results from Idol more than the results for one of the most critical presidential elections in 100 years, then you are retarded.  If you know more about David Archuleta than John McCain, then you deserve to be watching tomorrow night’s show from a Saudi jail.  If you are rooting for David Cook more than Barack Obama, then you need to be deported.  Yet since Kentucky and Oregon will tell us absolutely nothing about the direction of the race, you can be excused for watching a CSI rerun instead of CNN’s political team tonight.

I’m rooting for this David Cook fellow more than I’m rooting for Barack Obama.

  2. I don’t know who David Archuleta or David Cook are. I’m glad for ctrl c ctrl v or I wouldn’t even be able to remember their names. And I think the original CSI rocks.
