Former Klansman Endorses Barack For President
Taegan Goddard just had a note come across that West Virginian Senator Robert Byrd has endorsed Barack Obama for President. Now if that is not a come to Jesus moment, having a former Klansman endorse a black man for President I don’t know what is. Now some mock the overly hope-y nature of the Obama campaign but you can’t argue with the astonishing nature of that. Now I know Byrd is doing it because of his anti-Iraq war stance but it still shows the racial progress that is being made before our eyes.
