We Waited All That Time For This?

It seemed at times like Christmas would come sooner than the big Texas-Ohio primary night that was supposed to decide it all. Then it came and did not decide anything. That night everybody started saying that it was not time to look forward to the Pennsylvania primary. Well after what’s seemed like two years the Penn Primary is here upon us. It’s still not going to decide anything. If Obama were to win the primary then it will be over for all but Mrs. Clinton, but I have the feeling that she will only “suspend” her campaign much like Mitt Romney did. This leaves open a hairs-breadth chance that if Obama were to eat a baby on live television or something and she can be there to jump back in. Yet she’s not pulling out of the race. But I honestly think that despite out-spending Clinton 2-1 in ad buys across the Keystone State, and having come from double-digits down, the political distance will be too great to close. The race will probably go 53-47 to Clinton, and that will change absolutely nothing. The only hope of the race ending before August is the chatter that a group of people would go to Clinton and have a political intervention. With Bill Clinton weak he can’t stop them. But the delegate math will not change. The only joy of the night will be seeing former Fox News Sunday anchor Tony Snow on CNN’s coverage. Suck on that O’Rielly.
