The Sunshine Empire

The countdown continues with a movie that is more known for the re-make that came after it. These days George Clooney has made millions with his Oceans Eleven series. Yet his movie was a remake of a classic rat pack ’60′s movie masterpiece. The original Oceans 11 was filled with stars of stage and screen. The main cast of Frank Sinatra, Peter Lawford, Sammie Davis Junior, Dean Martin, and the guy that would end up playing Mr. Roper on Threes Company is nothing short of legendary. The dialog is brilliant in bringing you back to a Vegas that was not the commercialized home of CSI that it is today. Oh, and Dean Martin performs my favorite song of his ever.
