Thanks for the shout out!
I got to the Sunshine Empire today to catch up (I’ve been visiting, but only for moments – I’m sorry!) and I realized that I have missed A LOT in the past week! I had to go back three pages to see the Video Empire. That is how prolific you have been and how out of touch I have been.
In response to VEIII, I have been totally burned out by the election, as well. I think part of it is the sheer LENGTH of the election cycle – rigodamndiculous, who wouldn’t get burned out! – but I am also tiring of the tone of the cycle. Yes, it’s negative, but that happens in every election.
What I’m really getting sick of is the nit-picking! “Clinton moved her arm to the left, Obama moved his arm to the right. WHAT DOES IT MEAN???” Oh, my god. It doesn’t mean anything! Or, if it does, we won’t know for another three months. CHILL. Reporters, and especially bloggers (not you, dear Sunshine) but the HuffPost and Daily Kos and etc are just approaching this whole cycle from a microscope. I don’t care how many times Obama shifted in his chair when he was on The view! I don’t even care that he was on The View! If there were less of that crap, I think I would have more tolerance and longevity for this election.
Now that I got THAT out of my system, I have to say: more video Empire!! Please?
