The current row over traditional dress in the Democratic presidential primary is proof enough that the elders need to have someone sit on their ego and wait at least four years. Going back and fourth on traditional family dress is ridiculous. Imagine if someone had circulated a picture of Joe Lieberman in a yarmulke in between the back rooms of Washington in 2000? The debate would be about how racist that was. Especially because that was prior to 2001 when we entered the world of the non-sequiter as off putting truth. Now we have government agents looking for terrorists in the World Of Warcraft.

Hillary is starting to grip too hard with this thing and risks killing the prospect of the Democrats winning in November. Then she’ll be resigned to the Ted Kennedy wing of the Senate.
