TSE Election Central: Potomac Primary Tuesday

I just finished watching Hillary give a concession speech from thousands of miles away from her defeat in Virginia tonight, and all I kept thinking of was Rudy Guiliani talking about losing South Carolina from Florida.  Her speeches inspire me in a way that the floor lamp behind me does.  The political posters and t-shirts where all there, but all the partying will not remove the political truth of her tailspin.  Do not misunderstand, I want substance and not just a good show.  But her losing streak is getting bad and her people are dropping like flies.

Barack Obama has trounced Hillary and McCain is still just slipping by the Huck.   McCain is most assuredly the nominee in the Republican party, much to the chagrin of everybody that’s wrong in the wing nut division of the GOP.  But as much as the race seems over in the GOP, the Democratic race is telling with the wide vote differentials between the parties.  I do understand that the political reality is that the already depressed vote totals from earlier are down even more due the practically decided nature of the race, but they are still daunting when the entire Republican field can’t total anywhere near just Obama’s vote total.

Maryland has fallen for Barack and he’s now in the lead for delegates.
