The Sunshine Empire

I did not get to see the entire CNN Republican debate live, but I watched the replay and I came away more impressed with Ron Paul. I know he has a rabid following, and I do not subscribe to all that he advocates, but he sure seemed the most together candidate last night. Rudy just looked lost when actually faced with a difficult question from someone other than Sean Hannity. When asked to account for his extramarital tryst being billed to obscure departments in New York City during his mayoralty, he just looked like a deer staring into halogens. They all seemed to be in this childish, “well I lower taxes more than you did” tit-for-tat. The words “Ronald Reagan” were said once every 2.5 words per candidate. Yet Paul seemed to hold his own and was not trying to bullshit the sheep in the South like the rest of them. He even withstood McCain’s cheap theatrics as his candidacy sinks into the ocean. Surprisingly even Duncan Hunter seemed to say some interesting. More later.
