The Sunshine Empire Salutes Fred Taylor

The Sunshine Empire staff has made no mystery of the fact that we are unabashed fans of the Jacksonville Jaguars. But we wanted to extend our congratulations to Fred Taylor for crossing the 10,000 yard rushing mark. He becomes only the 21st player in the National Football League’s 80+ year history to do so. Just like all time NFL leading rusher Emmitt Smith, he fought hard and proved his durability in a league where the average career lasts just five seasons. He deserves to be in the Hall Of Fame and that is no surprise for an alum of THE University of Florida. We congratulate him because the national press is still too pre-occupied with sucking Bret Favre’s 90 year old dick. But Freddy’s durability and his legacy of having run every one of those yards in the teal, black and gold is a huge credit to his greatness. I may have drunkenly wanted him pulled out of the ’97 UF-FSU game, but I am willing to be humble and say that I was wrong and that we have a special place in football lore for Mr. Taylor.

The Sunshine Empire Thanks Fred Taylor.
