The Sunshine Empire

We would like to make one thing very clear. In September of 2006 I decided to start a blog dealing with politics, sports, music and humor as I saw them. I was born and raised in Jacksonville Florida, and Florida is “The Sunshine State” due to it’s sub-tropical weather. The state has played a critical role in politics and culture in the United States and has joined states like New York “The Empire State” in guiding popular culture and sports. For this reason I named my blog The Sunshine Empire. It was only after seeing a fair amount of visits coming from the far east, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and parts of China that I found through Google Sunshine-Empire. This company is part of the Empire Group in Asia and has no relation to this blog, nor has the name been chosen in any way to indicate or insinuate any connection to this company. We do not recruit for this company, nor promote any of their products. We stand by nothing that these companies do or advocate for.
