August is a harsh mistress
Please accept our apology for not having more to post tonight. The air conditioner for the second floor offices of The Sunshine Empire have failed, and it is August in Florida. I have no idea how anybody lived here before 1900. But I just keep reminding myself that I won’t have to pay a fuel oil bill. With the window behind this computer open I can hear a symphony of various insects keeping a steady drumbeat that drives the night along. I’m not staying up for long. It’s 90 degrees here and it’s past midnight. Simple tasks seem to escape me and I’ll I hope this is not effecting my overall faculties.
